MATT AND SABRINA BENSON
Project Design Goals and Requirements

Matt and Sabrina purchased an existing home and wanted to update that using sustainable design principles. This project included both the main and upper levels of the home. They were 56 years old and were both employed outside the home.

Their interests included Art, cooking/ entertaining (they were self-proclaimed gourmet/foodies), music, and reading. Matt was an outdoor enthusiast and did some freelance writing for outdoor magazines, loved to travel, and wanted an area to display all the wonderful artifacts they had collected during their travels.

Sabrina suffered from bouts of asthma, had allergic to dust, mold, and chemical sensitivities. They loved colors and preferred a transitional look and not to have a T.V. in the great room.
